The case

<p>The native uFlou app is designed for sustainable mobility users, allowing them to access complete statistics on CO2 absorption, calories burned, kilometers traveled, hours of physical activity, among other parameters. One of the main challenges was the need to strengthen its security protocols, improve the accuracy of geolocation to calculate routes, develop new modules, and provide support for functionality and infrastructure.</p>

One of the main challenges was the need to strengthen its security protocols, improve the accuracy of geolocation to calculate routes, develop new modules, and provide support for functionality and infrastructure.

The solutionuFlou

EvolutecC implemented an action plan based on agile methodologies, with flexible stages that allowed the repair of critical system vulnerabilities and malfunctions, applying new clean code parameters in various modules. The solutions included the Background service for alerts and geolocation, configuration of the app’s statistics and views to enhance the user experience. Additionally, EvolutecC worked on server architecture and user quality testing, which was crucial for the validation phase and for publishing in the iOS and Android app stores.

The result

The solution implemented by EvolutecC generated significant results for users, allowing them to interact with more accurate statistics on a more stable, secure platform with optimal functionalities.

 

The main results achieved were:

  1.  Accuracy in geolocation: The implementation of the "Haversine" formula substantially improved the accuracy of distance calculations in geolocation. This formula is widely used to calculate distances between two geographic points.

  2.  Module correction and creation: EvolutecC's development team reviewed the existing modules of the application to fix errors and optimize their functionality. Additionally, by executing Background Task, they managed to correct approximately 90% of the app's functionalities, optimizing its overall efficiency and performance.

  3.  Enhanced security: Through reengineering authentication processes and restructuring graphical statistics on uFlou's web platform, optimal security practices were implemented. This ensured the protection of user data and helped prevent potential vulnerabilities in the application.
