The case
Asesoftware aimed to collaborate with its client, ProColombia, in building its first B2B marketplace. This project was designed to promote national and international trade among millions of sellers and consumers. In this context, Asesoftware partnered with EvolutecC to strengthen its specialized Drupal team, leveraging this CMS widely used by large enterprises for its security and robust features.
The solution
EvolutecC, drawing on its expertise in Drupal, contributed to the development of ProColombia's B2B marketplace by implementing various user stories and custom modules. Additionally, artificial intelligence was integrated to enhance the user experience.
The portfolio of services provided by EvolutecC fully met ProColombia's needs, enabling users to have a communication and support channel to establish business relationships that benefit the Colombian economy.
The activities delivered by EvolutecC included:

Development of User Stories and Custom Modules: Using agile methodologies, 56 user stories and 10 custom modules were developed interactively and scalably to fulfill the first stage of ProColombia's project. This framework allowed EvolutecC and Asesoftware to complete 12 sprints in less than 6 months, each lasting 2 weeks.

Integration with AI and CRM: The platform employs artificial intelligence (AI) developed by Asesoftware and integrated by EvolutecC into Drupal to optimize product searches and recommendations through user search history analysis and other data, creating personalized product recommendations. Additionally, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system provided valuable insights into customer behavior and preferences.

Efficient Communication Development: A mass mailing system and internal chat were developed to provide stable communication channels between suppliers and customers, significantly improving real-time communication functions within the platform.

CMMI Quality Certification: EvolutecC and Asesoftware carried out an extensive quality assurance phase for the software, ensuring its functionality and fixing bugs that interfered with the marketplace's operations. This quality process involved generating test cases and conducting various types of testing, including stress, security, performance, and SEO, following best practices promoted by Colombia's Ministry of Information Technologies (MinTIC).
Today, ProColombia is a platform that meets the technical requirements outlined in its initial scope, capable of hosting millions of visitors interested in investments, exports, tourism, and other activities that drive Colombia's economic growth.
Additionally, the strategic partnership between Asesoftware and EvolutecC has strengthened both companies' capabilities to tackle projects in Drupal and other technologies.
