The case
In 2022, when Würth Colombia partnered with EvolutecC, their online store faced major challenges: an outdated design, user registration issues, a poor mobile experience, and a high technical dependency for content updates. These problems affected operational efficiency and led to additional costs.
In the first phase, EvolutecC redesigned their ecommerce platform using WordPress and WooCommerce, improving the interface, fixing functionality issues, and empowering the local team with greater content management autonomy.
By 2025, with business growth and evolving strategic needs, the second phase began: migrating to a more modern and scalable platform. The new solution had to robustly integrate internal systems, deliver an advanced mobile experience, and establish a digital channel aligned with the group’s global standards. This led to the creation of Würth’s new digital ecosystem: a web and mobile solution developed with Next.js and Ionic.
The solution
EvolutecC designed and implemented a cross-platform solution using Next.js and Ionic, which included:
- Full migration of users, products, and orders.
- Development of a PWA and native apps for iOS and Android.
- Advanced CRM integration for customer and order workflows.
- Automation of notifications and document generation.
- UX/UI redesign with a mobile-first approach.
